Gila Ridge High School Attendance Policy                            Additional Information

Successful completion of course work is two fold:                                                    Mandatory Tutoring School Spring 2011  (WILL BE UPDATED SOON)

1. the student must meet academic standards and exhibit consistent attendance.
2. The primary responsibility for attendance lies with the student and their parents.

We encourage parents to reinforce with their student the importance of attending all of their classes, as there is no substitution for actual classroom attendance. Lectures, exercises, academic activities, tests, student discussions, media presentations, lab work, and teacher assistance are each vital to academic success and learning. The grade a student earns is based on the successful achievement of course objectives as defined by the District and determined by the instructor.
